Anush Lakshmanan Vellayan

Founder & CEO

Anush Lakshmanan is a Brown University alumni, with a background in engineering and robotics. He is a former member of the Purdue University Collaborative Robotics Laboratory research team lead by Prof. Richard Voyles (Former Advisor to President Obama’s Office of Science & Technology). Anush is a seasoned silicon-valley product manager with 4+ years of experience building SaaS products from the ground up. Anush has a pedigree in building services and solutions for the industrial distribution space, and with his team at CommerzNxt, he plans to reimagine the world of industrial selling and empower SMBs with the tools and advantages that market leaders hold.

Dayal Gaitonde

CTO & Head of Engineering

Dayal is a seasoned Engineering leader with over 20 years of experience in helping early stage B2B Product companies and teams grow from scratch. His last two gigs were Bay Area based then early stage startups Revenue.io and Findem who he joined them at scratch and help build a 30 member engineering team and scale the product tremendously.

Matt Johnson

Vice President, Business Development

Matt is a sales and product marketing expert with 17 years experience building brands and helping leaders grow their top-lines. Matt is the former Vice President of Business Development at the ES Tech Group, prior to which he built and sold his business Spinstak Growth Agency to the ES Tech Group. Matt is an influential leader in the industrial distribution space who has authored books like eComm - Wheel of Growth that has helped hundreds of industrial distributors build thriving online sales channels.

Director of Sales & Strategic Partnerships - UK

John Ashford is our resident industrial distribution veteran, with over 20+ years experience working with industry leaders such as Cromwell Group, Merlin Tools, TMS Solutions. He is also the Founding Director of Smart Tools UK and Sequr. John is a thought-leader in engineering consulting and sales, and his expertise influences a community of 15k+ distributors across the world. At CommerzNxt, he manages business development & partnerships for the UK geography and offers us the necessary insights to digitally transform the industrial distribution space.

Hari Ullody

CFO

Hari Ullody is an All India Rank Holding chartered accountant, whose expertise lies in finance and audit, specific to global SaaS businesses. Hari is the Founder & CEO at Zuna – a finance and audit consulting firm helping startups across different stages. At CommerzNXT, Hari handles all things finance, legal, and compliance, associated with shipping an Indian SaaS product to global markets.
